I’m Nipuna.

I was planning to be a microbiologist. But stuff happened, and now I’m studying software engineering. I’m planning to study physics. Hmm… yeah, it DOES feel better than software engineering. I also like to act in theatre. So if I become a physicist, will I have time to pursue acting? I wonder.

So what is my life’s ambition? Go figure.

I’m a Buddhist, but that doesn’t mean I treat everyone else from other faiths with disapproval or sympathy. I will treat you like a friend. And oh, don’t ask my friends how I treat them.

I’m open-minded, but I can’t stand extremists. I’m a vegetarian, but not a pure vegetarian. I drink milk, and I don’t think I can survive without it.

I’m funny, and I crack jokes all the time. But then most of my jokes turn out to be lame.

I listen to indie rock. I listen to metal. I also listen to hard rock, hip-hop, pop, house, reggae, country and R&B. I listen to old Sinhalese classics. But I don’t listen to jazz. Not with a passion, anyway.

I’m a fun person, but I’m serious most of the time. I like cats, I like dogs, but I hate snakes. Wait. I want to repeat that. I HATE snakes.

I’m a nerd. I like to watch science documentaries. I like programming. I read medieval fantasy, and I can’t wait till George R. R. Martin releases “A Dance with the Dragons”. But I also do “fun” things like… um… you know… oh, never mind.

I think you get the picture, so I’m just going to shut up.

And this is my blog. I will post things here, (note the vaugeness– things— that was to get you to imagine all sorts of wonderful possibilities) and most of the posts will be from my point of view. You may agree or disagree with me or other readers, but please, please be respectful at all times.
